Our part-time infant program is planned for the care of six infants, ages 4 to 18 months, with our two loving and experienced caregivers. This program is offered from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each weekday following the traditional calendar and holiday breaks of San Diego City Schools. (Please see our calendar page.)
Following an initial introduction to our program, we build up hours gradually as your child is comfortable during a “Snuggling In” period (2 – 4 weeks). Parents contract for the days they regularly need, most following a schedule that mirrors schedules in the nursery school: Mon through Fri, Tues and Thurs, or Mon-Wed-Fri, where siblings may also be in our care. If your needs change, your schedule may be altered based on our availability.
Our infant care program is individualized based on information from daily communication between parents and caregivers and information provided in quarterly Needs and Service Plans. Our caregivers strive to build a bond with each child and provide comfort as well as stimulating activities to challenge each child at his or her own developmental level.
Open 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
